Multi-title theatrical and PVOD windows

The problem

Film releases have no second chance. Demand has to be built to a fixed opening date, moved into ticket purchase on partner platforms, then re-captured after the theatrical window closes.

What we did

  1. 01Ran 66 campaigns across the opening, split by week, placement and objective rather than one flighted push.
  2. 02Separated feed and stories builds so each placement got creative made for it.
  3. 03Drove ticket intent directly into Fandango checkout alongside watch-page and trailer objectives.
  4. 04Reopened the audience after theatrical release for the PVOD window instead of starting cold.

Funnel: before and after

Stage by stage.

  • Awareness

    Before

    Single broad trailer push

    After

82.7M people reached across week-by-week campaign waves

Pressure built toward the opening date rather than peaking early.

  • Consideration

    Before

Trailer views treated as the goal

    After

Qualified views bought as low as $0.31

Cheap attention was measured against genuine watch intent.

  • Conversion

    Before

No direct path to a ticket

    After

    Dedicated Fandango initiate-checkout campaigns

Interest was converted inside the purchase window, not after it.

  • Retention

    Before

Spend ended with the theatrical run

    After

Post-theatrical PVOD campaigns to warm audiences

The same audience was monetised twice.

Multiple titles opened with structured, measurable paid support across both the theatrical and post-theatrical windows.
